2. Purpose of CLUTCHLINE
CLUTCHLINE is an independent companion app for VALORANT. After an explicit account connection, the app presents profile and match information through supported Riot Games APIs. During development, areas without an active data connection are clearly labeled as demos.
3. Data stored on your device
The app stores your entered Riot ID, app preferences, favorite Agents, and the time of the latest synchronization locally on your device. You can remove this data through the in-app reset option or by deleting the app.
4. Data sent during synchronization
When a connection is active, your Riot ID, the resulting player identifier, and required match IDs are sent to the CLUTCHLINE backend and then to the Riot Games API. The current backend design does not create a permanent public player profile from this information.
5. Riot Sign On and consent
Production access to personal VALORANT data is planned only after Riot approval. Players will connect their own account through Riot Sign On and explicitly consent to the processing of their data. Personal statistics will not be published without opt-in.
6. Service providers
Planned technical service providers include Cloudflare for hosting and API infrastructure, Riot Games for account and match data, and Apple or Google for app distribution. The app currently includes no advertising or tracking SDKs.
7. Retention
Local data remains on the device until it is changed or deleted. In the current backend, API responses are used only to process the relevant request. The scope and retention period of technical production logs will be documented before release.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. After publication, requests can be sent to the support address listed above.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated whenever features, service providers, or data processing practices change.
